Looking Back At The 2019 Placerville Brewfest
Did you have a great time at the 2019 Brewfest? We know we sure did!
The 19th annual brewfest featured 40+ breweries, cideries, and wineries as well as local gourmet restaurants, a cigar lounge, and music and entertainment.
We sat down with Rebekah Scoville of Beers in Sac, the producer of the event, to talk about this year's party on Main Street.

How many were in attendance?
We estimate there were approximately 2,500 guests this year.
What do you think was the highlight of Brewfest 2019?
My favorite part was hearing all the positive feedback from event goers about Madison Hudson, the live music performer.
Were you pleased with the event overall?
We thought it was great! We were super happy with the event this year!
Last year was our first year producing the event in conjunction with the Placerville Downtown Association. They had been putting on Brewfest for 17 years at that point, so naturally there were some bumps for us when we took over producing and managing the event.
For example, a DJ that had worked well for us at Brewfests in other venues was not as well received in Placerville. We learned that the people here really love live music at the events. So we listened to that feedback and brought in Madison Hudson to perform and she was a hit.
We carefully read through all of the 2018 the event goer surveys and made many improvements including our VIP and General admission entrance practices. Overall, the event ran much smoother and we hope the event goers liked the changes.
